Target group

This scaffolding training is aimed at people who come into contact with scaffolding in their work. There are also requirements that those who lead the work must have the correct training and knowledge in scaffolding. Working from a scaffold does not require training, but training is required to be involved in scaffolding assembly, make changes to the scaffolding’s supporting structure and dismantle a scaffold. This means that most professional groups in the construction industry can benefit from this training. These include scaffolding assemblers, solar panel assemblers, carpenters, painters, roofers and more.

Self-study course for scaffolding assembly

Our training is conducted online in our user-friendly and educational training portal. The training portal is adapted for all different types of devices and the course works just as well on a phone as on a computer or tablet. The training portal also saves your progress and remembers where you were last when you left off, so you don’t have to do the entire course at once but can do it when it suits you. Online training with self-study is an excellent way to acquire knowledge as it is possible to do the elements at the pace that suits you best.

This is how the self-study course works

The course consists of 5 subtests with 10 questions in each subtest a total of 50 questions. All questions are so-called ”cross-questions” where you have to click on the correct answer option. You must be 80% correct (8 out of 10 questions must be answered correctly) in each subtest to proceed to the next subtest, etc. You can repeat the tests as many times as you want and have time for 60 days. You must take the tests in turn from 1-5.

After each partial test with a passed result, that result is saved and you do not need to repeat it more than once. You can therefore continue to the next partial test immediately or at a later time during the 60 days you have on you. When you have passed all the tests with a passed result, you can immediately download your personal course certificate.

Certificate of training

After completing the course, a physical certificate of training is issued and sent to the course participant’s home by post. In addition, a digital certificate of training is issued that can be viewed and downloaded from the training portal immediately after the course is completed. We are also an accredited ID06 registrar, so there is the possibility of having your results registered in their database after completing the course.

Validity period for general scaffolding training

The Swedish Work Environment Authority has not set a validity period for this training, but the recommendation is that it be repeated every five years. The employer is responsible for assessing the risks in the workplace and ensuring that employees have sufficient training and competence to work safely. This includes determining how long the training is considered valid and when updates or renewals are needed.
